ABOUT US
Founded in September 2019, Curva Atelier has as main objective to be a platform for exchange, research, creation and promotion of art and ceramic artists in Portugal.
Lu Florence
Journalist specialized in fashion and creation. She was correspondent for Vogue and Glamour magazines and editor of J. Walter Thompson in Sao Paulo. She has lived in Portugal since 2015 and since then she has dedicated herself to ceramics. Between 2018 and 2020 she was an assistant at Ar.Co school of art for ceramics department.
Beatrice Ciotti
Italian, graduated in product design in Italy. She studied ceramics at Ar.Co - Center for Art and Visual Communication, she was an assistant to the renowned Portuguese designer and ceramist João Valente.
Maria João Pais
Portuguese, doctor expert in internal medicine and nephrology. She was clinical director of Centro Hospitalar de Lisboa Ocidental and Head in the Board of Directors of the same center. Today retired, and after practising at Ar.Co, she dedicates herself exclusively to ceramics.
Cyrielle Marchetti
She started her career as a ceramist at the Korean Cultural Center in Paris, following the centuries-old tradition of Korean ceramics. She arrive in Lisbon, where she has been studying at Ar.Co.
